Ready? Law Enforcement officers encounter different situations during their tour of duty. Preparing for duty requires officers to develop a mental state that will prepare them for any encounter. Mental preparation starts prior to going on shift, it even starts the day before. Mental toughness requires working out brain muscles with scenarios and visualization of acting out job duties in different situations and environments. Uniform and Equipment
Law Enforcement Officers must perform duty gear maintenance prior to reporting on duty. Depending on your agency you will be assigned equipment. Most medium and large departments provide officers with needed equipment. Smaller agencies due to budget will require officers to purchase their own gear.
